It works well enough but it doesn't bitstream the audio so I can't access ATMOS tracks etc. I have a work laptop with a HDMI port so I installed PMT as a test and was able to play ATMOS demo tracks so I know now that I'm going to need a way to use PMT . True, but after you buy the NUC and a hard drive for it you will end up spending 5x as much as you would on a used PC. I just wanted to point out that the NUC isn't a necessity for building a Plex media player. Does anybody know if PLex is working on live tv streaming capability?

No reason has been given for the decision to switch to a player app for PCs and Macs that can’t run a TV mode. There are some wide varieties of media available online for the people. It includes mainstream sources like TV station and the other news outlets along with the video sites like Vimeo and YouTube are included.
